This workshop explains theoretical and practical possibilities of radio signal and feedback and how to use mini FM radio transmiter and receiver in music improvisation.

Why is feedback interesting for music? Examples from scientific  field, non-linear sound production.
Short history of feedback music (1894 – now).
Who’s afraid of microphone feedback – how to tame a monster ?
No input mixing board – from dub reggae to Toshimaru Nakamura: the  development of a new instrument breaking the warranty – how to use simple equipment such as a transistor radio to create complex sounds.
FM feedback – playing with antennas far beyond the Theremin.
